1. Review your
Elements and Principles of Art. Read through the posts above and make sure you understand how to talk about all the Elements and Principles and what their use can mean.
2. Read through the HISTORY OF ART. Try to be clear on the various art concepts: Realism, Surrealism, Abstract, Impressionism, Expressionism, etc and a few examples of artists that do each.
3. Read through the posts above. Make sure you understand the Themes: Portraits, Culture/Society, Ideas and Imagination.
4. Look at the following pictures and be familiar with them. I have posted 13 pictures. 8 of these pictures will be on the exam.
